The founder of Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL) record label, Olamide Adedeji popularly known as Olamide in the Nigerian music industry has expressed his desire to work with people represent the streets. He spoke while expressing keen interest to collaborate with Big Brother Naija 2017 winner, Efe.

According to him, “....a lot of people tend to look down on others who they think are not talented enough, you don’t judge a book by its cover..I see hunger, zeal, passion anytime I see Efe and someone who is going to be very diligent with his work,”

Going on to quote the bible verse which says that a diligent man will stand before kings, he said, “The guy may not be all that fantastic or spectacular but I can see it in him over time he is going to develop himself as he grows in the industry,”

The Lagos-based YBNL was founded by Olamide in 2012. The record label is home to notable music acts including Lil Kesh and Adekunle Gold who refer to themselves as YBNL Soldiers.
