The courageous and inspiring Kechi Okwuchi, finalist at the 2017 “America’s Got Talent” is in Lagos. She arrived the Nigerian city on Monday, to speak at the Stanbic IBTC’s youth empowerment program “Against All Odds.”

At the event, Kechi spoke alongside music producer Cobhams Asuquo and survivor of the United Nations Building bomb blast in Abuja, Member Feese.

Okwuchi, after speaking, gave a surprise live performance, singing MI and Waje‘s “One Naira.”

She also joined the hosts of the Sunday Praise Jam on Cool FM, Lagos, on Sunday morning.

Kechi was among the two survivors of the ill-fated Sosoliso Airline Flight 1145 which took the lives of 107 people on board after it crashed in December 2005.

The inspiring Okwuchi has gone through and survived over 100 surgeries since the crash.

Kechi’s voice recently captured the world. In her audition for America’s Got Talent, she sang Ed-Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, with a beautiful voice that brought some members of the audience to tears and left the judges stunned.
