Davido, Stonebwoy To Perform At FIFA World Cup Closing Ceremony In Qatar

The African superstars, Davido and Stoneboy of Nigeria and Ghana respectively have landed in Qatar to perform in the final ceremony of the ongoing 2023 FIFA World Cup. Stoneboy is expected to perform at the fan festival on the 16th of December while, Davido is scheduled to perform on Sunday 18, 2022 in Doha.


The two artists were accompanied by the assistant coach of Ghana, George Boateng.

The FIFA World Cup final is scheduled to hold on Sunday as the defending champions France will take on Argentina.

A Chinese billionaire, Stephen Hung broke the exciting news that Davido would be among those that will perform at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World cup last week.

This would be his first public performance since the demise of his son, Ifeanyi, in October.

Hung wrote on his Instagram page, “So happy my bro #davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”
