Nigerian rapper, Babalola Falemi, popularly known as Sauce Kid or Sinzu, who served a short jail term in the US is prepared to make a massive comeback to the entertainment industry. Sauce Kid, who is signed to DMW Record label, said his two years in jail was not a waste as he used it to develop his lyrics.
“Jail hasn’t been all that bad. Truth is, jail has actually been quite productive,” he said.
“In my first year, I was locked up for 22 hours in a day, I wrote a lot of raps… I wrote like 180 songs in my first year and another 120 in my second year,” he added.
The singer stated this in an interview with Ovie of NotjustOkTV, saying that while many people's lives gets wasted in jail, he utilized every time he had to his music writing great songs.
He further revealed that he’s planning on working with FalztheBahdguy and can’t wait to hear what they sound like together. We can’t wait too!
