Chelsea defender Marcus Alonso has been handed a three-game ban by the English FA and will miss Sunday’s FA Cup clash against Southampton at Wembley Stadium. Alonso was deemed to be guilty of violent conduct after planting his left boot into Shane Long’s right leg during Sunday’s Premier League meeting between the Saints and Chelsea.
