The Federal Government says the sum of N750bn would be released any moment from now for implementation of capital projects captured in the 2017 Budget. The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun made the disclosure on Monday during a meeting with a delegation of investors from France.
She hinted that the funds would be released to relevant Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) this week.
Adeosun further said the Federal Government had earlier released the sum of N450bn for capital projects, adding that with the additional N750bn, a total sum of N1.2tn would have been invested in infrastructure projects.
The Minister also said the Ministry in liaison with relevant authorities was closely monitoring the disbursement and implementation of the projects.
