The Supreme Court has today dismissed the case brought before it by the sacked Imo state governor of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) calling for a review of the case that sacked him, saying the case for lack of merit.

Justice Olukayode Ariwoola who was the presiding judge in his ruling said it is the final judgement of the court.

However, Justice Sentus Nweze one of the members among the seven-man panel of judges differed on his ruling, positing that, the ruling was going to haunt the legal jurisprudence of the apex court on issues of its status of finality.

He further invalidated the victory of Uzodinma and reinstated Ihedioha.
