The National Chairman and Presidential aspirant under the platform of the National Action Council (NAC), Olapade Agoro on Friday said former President Olusegun Obasanjo is the main political problem of Nigeria, contrary to other opinions being spread on the media. He stated this while addressing a press conference at his Apata, lbadan residence.

He maintained that Obasanjo’s Coalition for Nigeria Movement (CNM) was simply “Coalition of Nigerian Muguns”. He lamented that those ignorant of Obasanjo's scheming to remain dominant in the nation's political affairs are buying into his propaganda and idea of CNM. He challenged the former president to publish the names of the 2 million members that have registered as members of the CNM.

“Obasanjo is the problem of Nigeria. He brought late Yar’Adua and failed; he also brought Jonathan and failed, he actively supported President Muhammadu Bihari, who has now disappointed Nigerians.

Obasanjo is out again to take Nigerians on a ride with the coalition of Nigerian Muguns that he is packaging. He said he has gathered the list of 3 million Nigerians. I am challenging him to publish the list of the 3 million Nigerians who have joined his coalition before next week Tuesday.

Obasanjo rode to the top in his political career. But it appears that his ride has no bus stop and brake. He does not know where to stop.”

He expressed worry that Obasanjo failed to toe the path of leaders like Nelson Mandela by quitting politics.
