The Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for listening with humility to Catholic Bishops that visited him at the Aso Villa on Thursday. The Senator who reacted to the visit on Friday via his Twitter handle also applauded the Bishops for telling the President the truth about prevailing economic and political realities in the country.


In a series of tweets, the senator said;


“When some visit the Rock, they sing. When some visit the Rock; they speak. When some visit the Rock, they sink. When some visit the Rock; they shiver. The Catholics visited the Rock and spoke truth to power; and the Power listened with humility.”


Recall that on Thursday, some Catholic Bishops, led by Bishop Ignatius Kaigama visited the President. They had reportedly raise concern about the prevailing unemployment, insecurity, poverty and hunger in the country.


Meanwhile, it was gathered that the President explained to the clerics the efforts the government is putting to address the concerns.
