Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Peter Fayose, on Friday approved the appointment of news commissioners into the State Executive Council. The appointment of the new commissioners was contained in a statement by Fayose’s Special Adviser on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka.
The governor had about a month ago dissolved the Ekiti State Executive Council. Those appointed and their designations are;
1. Barrister Kola Kolade, Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice;
2. Hon. Ayo Alabi. Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs;
3. Hon Lanre Ogunsuyi, Information, Youths and Sports;
4. Hon Taye Otitoju, Lands.
5. Hon. Gbenga Olajide, Budget and Planning;
6. Hon Jide Egunjobi, Education, Science and Technology;
7. Chief Tunde Ogunleye, Water Resources; and
8. Olayinka Ogundayomi, Women Affairs.
