Following the kidnap of one hundred and twenty-one (121) students from Baptist High School Maraban Dami, in Kaduna State on 5th July 2021, fifteen more student students held hostage have regained their freedom from the den of its kidnappers.

This was revealed by Reverend John Hayab, the state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Sunday that fifteen students have been freed and sixty-five (65) more students are still in the custody of the bandits.

This is coming after the hoodlum made public that no student will be freed after the initial forty-one (41) released, unless each pays a ransom of one million naira.

The spokesperson for the Kaduna police command confirmed the release of the fifteen students however, noted that the police were not aware whether any ransom was paid by the parents of the students before their freedom.
