Following the violent protest that erupted today, 22nd July 2019 by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), a heretic Islamic group which is a shootout of the popular Shi'ite grouphas claimed its highest-profile victim yet as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operation at FCT Command, DCP Umar was reported killed by the group.
It was gathered that DCP Umar was killed by the IMN protesters while trying to prevent the hostile action of destruction of property at the axis of the Federal Secretariat as well as the Three-Arms-Zone.
