Police Get 6 DIGs, 14 AIGs, Others - PSC

The Police Service Commission (PSC), has on 21st October 2019 approved the appointment of six Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs) with two to proceed on pre-retirement leave. The revelation was made in a statement by the Head, Press and Public Relations of the Commission, Ikechukwu Ani in Abuja.

Sowore: Court Reduces Bail Condition

Following an appeal by lawyers to the convener of the #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, a Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday 21st October, 2019 reduced the bail terms imposed on the convener.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), has on Friday arrested nine suspected cyber criminals in Enugu. The suspects were on Friday arrested at Mexmemphis Properties and Apartments, Maryland District of Enugu State. According to a statement by the spokesman of the commission, Wilson Uwujaren, the suspects were arrested following an intelligence report about their lifestyle and suspected criminal activities. 

Second Tanker Explosion Hits Onitsha
