In a bid to achieve greater professional efficiency, the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai has approved the appointments and redeployment of 37 generals and colonels to different formations and units with effect from July 20, 2020.This was disclosed by Sagir Musa, the Acting Director, Public Relations on Tuesday in a statement in Abuja, saying the shake-up was in line with the routine exercise aimed at reinvigorating the system. The posting and appointments include Maj. Gen. Lucky Irabor from Defence Headquarters Department of Training and Operations to Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Minna as Commander.

Breaking: Ibrahim Magu Suspended As EFCC Chairman

The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been allegedly suspended from office as the acting chairman of the anti-graft agency. Mr. Magu's suspension came on Tuesday, following the set-up of the Buhari administration to investigate allegations leveled against the EFCC boss including gross misconduct and other corrupt practices.
