Military Airstrikes Hit Bandits’ Hideout In Kaduna Forests, Kills Scores

The Defence Headquarters says the Air Component of Operation Thunder Strike has neutralised several armed bandits in air raids on their camps in the Kuduru and Kwaimbana Forest areas of Kaduna State. Maj.-Gen. John Enenche who disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja informed that the successes were achieved through separate airstrikes carried out on Wednesday and Thursday.

COVID-19: FG Suspends Curfew

The Federal Government has adjusted the 10:00 pm – 4:00 am curfew to 12 am through 4 am, as it continues the gradual easing of lockdown measures imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country. Quorum Aviation Helicopter Crashes In Lagos

A Bird 206 helicopter with registration number 5N BQW belonging to Quorum Aviation crashed in 16A Salvation Opebi road of Lagos state around 12.00 pm today. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) officials revealed the helicopter flew in from Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital with two crew members and a passenger.

FG Issues Ghana Warning Over Intimidation Of Its Citizens

The federal government of Nigeria has issued a stern warning to the Ghanaian authorities that it will no longer tolerate the incessant harassment, intimidation and the progressive acts of hostility towards Nigerians residing there and Nigeria. In a statement issued on Friday by the Minister of Information and Culture in Abuja -  the government had been documenting the acts of hostility towards its people and authorities and is urgently considering a number of options aimed at ameliorating the situation.

Military Arrest 150 Bandits, Neutralize 25 In Northwest States

Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have neutralized no fewer than 25 bandits in Katsina, Zamfara, and Sokoro State in its effort to rid the axis of incessant unprovoked killings and kidnappings prevalent in the zone. The coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Eneche while announcing the deed recorded by the military in August, said troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have continued to record significant successes against the armed bandits in the North West Zone of the country, stressing that during the period under review large cache of arms and ammunition, over 1000 livestock were recovered.
