The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced that the mock examination for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) which was earlier scheduled to hold on April 16 would now hold on April 9.
This was made known by the board on Monday in Abuja in its Weekly Bulletin.
JAMB said the change of date was a result of the realisation that the earlier scheduled date of April 16, was Easter Sunday; a holy Saturday celebrated by Christians worldwide to mark the end of the Lent period before Easter Sunday.
The board, however, advised all candidates who had registered and would want to sit for the mock examinations to note the change of date and be prepared.
Meanwhile, registration for the 2022 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) commenced on February 19, and would end on March 26 while the 2022 UTME would hold from May 6 to May 16, 2022.
