UNIPORT Student Allegedly Killed By Her Lover

A University of Port Harcourt undergraduate simply identified as Collins has been apprehended for allegedly killing his student girlfriend, Otuene Justina Nkang for money rituals. The victim was said to be a 300-level student of the Biochemistry department in UNIPORT and was declared missing a few days ago by her relatives. Nkang was said to be undergoing her Industrial Training attachment at a private hospital in the D/Line axis of Port Harcourt where she was last seen.

It was gathered that the suspect was apprehended by the estate security personnel at her boyfriend's residence on Road 15 along NTA Road Port-Harcourt while making attempts to dispose of the dismembered lifeless body of the deceased in a bloody sack. It was reported that she was murdered by her lover for ritual purposes, as her breasts, eyes, and other sensitive parts of her body were mutilated.

When contacted, the spokesperson for the State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, told our correspondent that the Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwaonyi, will be addressing the press on the matter later on Thursday. She stated, “The CP will be having a press briefing by 11 a.m. today; you will get details of the incident when you come.”
