Security analyst and retired military officer, Col Hassan Stan Labo (rtd) has described the menace of Boko Haram as worse than the activities of Boko Haram in the North East. Labo who stated this on Thursday when he appeared on Channels Television programme, 'Politics Today' called on the Federal Government to urgently wade into the matter or expect its degeneration in the coming months.

In a bid to end the prevailing scarcity of Premium Motor Spririt (PMS) in the country, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) have intensifies raid on errant fuel stations across the country.  In a statement signed by Ndu Ughamadu, the Group General Manager, Public Affairs Division, NNPC, both organizations assured that the situation would be addressed in the coming days. The Kaduna State Police Command on Tuesday said it intercepted fake drugs worth N15 million in Zaria.  The Spokesperson of the Command, ASP Muktar Aliyu who disclosed this to newsmen in Kaduna said the Police Area Command in Zaria had intercepted the fake drugs after a tip-off by some residents.
