The Federal government is set unfold several entrepreneurship skill programs to address unemployment rate in Nigeria. Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi, the Minister of State for Science and Technology disclosed this on Thursday when a contingent of the Nasarawa All Progressive Congress (APC) paid him a courtesy call in his Abuja office.

The Minister said, such programs are embedded in the technology incubation and innovation system put in place by the Ministry to push those willing to start-ups nurture their business from scratch to medium and a large scale enterprise.


He enjoined the party leaders to encourage young Nigerians to develop interest in science subjects pointing that the future of our planet lies in science and technology.


He noted that the youths through science and technology can take advantage and benefit maximally from the incubation technology being currently promoted in several incubation centres across the country.


In his statement, ‘‘Even though the study of humanity and social science is good, there is need for the youths to also venture into the sciences. I think it is time that we begin to focus the attention of our children towards reading sciences subject for that is the future of the world.


The Minister disclosed there is several opportunities waiting to be exploited in the ministry and that can only be possible for students who studied sciences.
