The body of late Singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad) has been exhumed by the Lagos State Police Command along with some health officials so as to unravel the cause of the death. This disclosure was made known by the state Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who on Thursday 21st of September 2023 confirmed to correspondents that "The exhumation is currently ongoing. We have here a team of health officials from the state ministry of health led by CP Owohunwa. The CP is also expected to visit Mohbad’s father later in the day”
It can be recalled that the singer was confirmed dead on Tuesday, 12th of September, and was reportedly buried a day later, Wednesday 13th of September. However, since his demise, the media polity has been heating up due to his hasted burial and also the situation and condition that led to his demise which was labeled mysterious.
This has led to outcry from fans and well-wishers as well who have since taken to the streets urging the police and other security agencies to fish out his killers.
In response to this, State and Public stakeholders have all reacted, which has prompted a well-detailed investigation to be carried out, which has begun with his body being exhumed.
