Runway Jazz Makes Comeback With Tiwa Savage, Gerald Albright As Leads

Runway Jazz, an event that brings together jazz music and fashion to the same stage, has made a comeback to do it bigger and better.

The 2018 edition of the event is dedicated to the memory of Hugh Ramapolo Masekela, a South African trumpeter, flugelhornist, cornetist, composer and singer.

Artistes on the performance lineup includes Grammy winner Gerald Albright, Sweet Sound band, Tiwa Savage, Heavy Wind, Beyond Vocal, Sarah Boulos and the Society for Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN).

Afolabi Kehinde Oke, the founder of Runaway Jazz, told TheCable Lifestyle that “you will see a different Tiwa Savage” on the Runway Jazz stage.

According to Oke, Universal Music Nigeria is responsible for the production of the event which will be hosted by MC Abbey.

Runway Jazz will hold on Sunday, April 29, at the EKO Hotel and Suites, while a masterclass will take place a day prior to the event, April 28.

Dolapo Osinbajo, founder of Step Up, and Tiwa Savage are two of the personalities who will speak at the fashion and music masterclass.
