Stephen King, a Denmark-based Nigerian movie producer and the director says a Nigerian Cultural Heritage Carnival will take place in the Scandinavia from May 2 to May 5. Scandinavia and the Nordic region is a historical and geographical region covering much of Northern Europe. The countries that make up the region are Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland. He told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the telephone from Copenhagen, Denmark, yesterday that the event would be the first of its kind in the Scandinavia.

The much anticipated Big Brother Naija 3 reality show tagged “Double Wahala” kicked off yesterday with 20 housemates who, expectedly, make boastful promises about game strategy to win the grand prize of N45 million. The contestants – 10 males and 10 females – made their first appearance during the opening live show in Johannesburg, South Africa, where they shared the spotlight with show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu who prodded them on what they will be offering fans in the next three months.

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has banned Olamide's hit single "Science Student" over allegation that the song promotes consumption of illicit substances/drug abuse. The NBC which issued the "Not To Be Broacdcast (NTBB)" warning to all radio and television stations in the country said it consider the song unfit for broadcast in Nigeria.

Popular Nigerian reality TV show, Big Brother Naija 3, will premiere tomorrow as it hit screens by 7 p.m.  The premiere of the third instalment of the highly anticipated show came after the housemates of the second edition gathered for a reunion to show to the excitement of their fans. Television personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, still remains this year’s host. The first episode of the 2018 edition will debut with a special two-hour programme.
