A group of Niger Delta ex-militants on Tuesday staged a protest at the Delta state axis of the East-West road, seeking for the removal of the Special Adviser to the President on Amnesty, Brig. Gen. Paul Boroh (rtd). The ex-militants who blocked the road, obstructing free vehicular movement were seen displaying placards and fliers with the inscription "Boroh Must Go".
The group had accused Boroh of allowing the Amnesty programme to be taken over by some powerful politicians from the North. They claimed that the names of original ex-militants were being dropped while those of Hausa/Fulanis were being included stressing that they are now the benefactors at the various training institutions.
