Osinbajo Departs Abuja For Rwanda

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday traveled out of Abuja to Rwanda. According to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, Osinbajo will represent President Muhammadu Buhari at the 25th Anniversary of the Liberation of Rwanda, which will be marked on Thursday, July 4.

 

He will join other African leaders and Heads of State expected at the occasion in Kigali, which will reflect on the end of the genocide in 1994.

 

The statement added that “the Vice-President, will be accompanied on the trip by senior government officials.”

 

Meanwhile, he is expected back to Nigeria on Thursday, July 4.
