Eid-el-Kabir: FG Declares June 28, 29 Public Holidays

The Federal Government (FG) has declared June 28, Wednesday and June 29, 2023, Thursday as public holidays in celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration which was disclosed on Monday in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinlade.


The statement urged Muslims and all Nigerian citizens to make sacrifices in order to develop communities and the nation at large.

The statement further said, “We are hopeful that the prayers and sacrifices that come with this great celebration, as well as the message of Eid-il-Kabir, will bring about peace, unity and progress in Nigeria.”
