The erstwhile super corps Abba Kyari, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) has today been declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in connection with his involvement in the drug business. The declaration was made known today by Femi Babafemi, the spokesperson of the agency when he conducted a brief press conference at its Headquarters in Abuja.

Babafemi disclosed, the decision came as a widened investigation involving an Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abbas, AKA Hushpuppi who was arrested in the United Arab Emirates as he was involved involvement in a fraud-related case by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Kyari until his suspension by the Nigerian police was the head of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

A lot of controversies have marred the super corps after his suspension where the FBI indicted him for being a conspirator to Hushpuppi.

It was learned that last week the police Service Commission ordered another fresh investigation against Abba Kyari after the first report of his investigation was submitted for some months to the commission.

Kyari has stayed away from public life, especially the social media shortly after his indictment by the FBI declaring him wanted to the Nigerian authority.
