Hoodlum suspected to be bandits has reportedly attacked a branch of Living Faith Church also known as Winners Chapel at Osara community, in Adavi Local Government Council of Kogi State. The gunmen shooting sporadically to scare away interveners invaded the church premises during the weekend while rehearsal was ongoing by the branch congregations and kidnapped not less than three members.
The incident has been confirmed by the Chairman of Adavi Local Council, Joseph Omuya Salami, on Monday through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Habeeb Jamiu, Moreso Salami have visited the scene in the company of the Divisional of Police Officer (DPO) of Osaro Division.
The Chairman Special Adviser also noted that the council and the security operatives are on the case to ensure the victims are rescued unhurt and normalcy return to the community with security beefed up.
