The leadership of the House of Representatives of the country is having a closed-door meeting with the heads of security agencies. The Deputy Speaker, of the house Ahmed Wase, presided over the meeting, which began about 2:15 pm.
The Defence Headquarters, Nigerian Army, Nigeria Air Force, Nigerian Navy, Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, among others, were represented by top officers.
The meeting was in response to the House resolution on the motion on the urgent need to address the possible breach of national security amidst the #EndSARS protest of October 20, 2020.
