Buhari Approves N208bn For Varsity Infrastructure

As part of efforts to revamp tertiary education in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari, over the weekend approved the disbursement of N208 billion to federal universities for infrastructural development.
The fund which was approved under the 2019 intervention of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) is to address the deficiencies in all the segments of the nation's educational system.

JAMB Set 160 As Cutoff Marks For 2019 Admission Into The Universities Across Nigeria

Following the 19th Policy Meeting of the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB), the agency has pegged the score of 160 as the cutoff mark for admissions to tertiary institutions in 2019. The approved score is the national minimum benchmark for admission into public universities.
