Security agency from Bauchi state led by the Nigerian police has busted a yahoo yahoo Academy in Bauchi town of Bauchi state undergoing a training program. Contained in a statement signed by the Police public relations officer, PPRO, SP Mohammed Wakil, that men of the command successfully organized an operation that lead to the arrest of one, Emmanuel Saleh, popularly known as Wizblaq, 22yrs of Rafin Zurfi area of the state who owns the Academy that engages in training youth on how to become a fraudster.
According to the police statement, the command acted on credible intelligence on 20th May 2022 when it busted into the apartment located at kirfi Road, GRA in Bauchi town where the training center was established to engage youth who would want to venture into the internet crime.
During the arrest, four young men were arrested including; Mathias Akronyi, AKA mad kid, 20years, ‘m’ of Block 24, 82 Division’s Army Barracks, Enugu; Patience Nuhu 21years (female) of Rafin-Zurfi, Bauchi.
Others are Bulus Haruna, 18 years old ‘m’ of Rafin-Zurfi, Bauchi, and Kingsley Simon* 19 years old ‘m’ of Rafin-Zurfi, Bauchi.
Consequently, exhibits recovered from the scene of the crime include; four laptops, one television set, four sound systems, a brand new power generator, seven plastic chairs, one office chair, a musical keyboard, and a fridge.
According to the report, the kingpin, Emmanuel Saleh, and members of his group are specialized in targeting unsuspecting foreign women under a proxy server, hacked by spoofing the, ‘would be female victim’ account which makes it possible to carry out variation in legitimate email to fool the victim into falling prey to gain access into their account.

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, Umar Mamman Sanda, has directed that the suspect be charged to court with immediate effect.
