The union between Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill has finally ended following the report refund of bride price to the family of her former in-laws.
The video clip of the development went viral on social media platforms on Tuesday. The clip elicited mixed reactions from fans. The reactions gained steam when the actress posted a short video of herself dancing after the successful refund of the bride price.
Some called her out for claiming earlier that she paid her own bride price, wondering why her family was returning the money.
Reacting to the negatives comments posted on her Instagram page, Tonto wrote.
“Honey don’t worry your head too much; we involved know the truth. For formality and respect a token has to be returned to them no matter what. The truth may be silent for a while but it sure can’t hide for long, You need not address this issue. I asked for a divorce, I was denied for months but God worked it out and I got it.”
