The Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar was recently pictured in his farm, nicely dressed and wearing an expensive Rolex Wrist Watch worth millions of Naira.
The picture which was ultimately posted to underscore the importance of agriculture especially in a recession backfired as commentators called him out for snapping picture while working on his farm.
Some of his followers claimed that he was merely pretending to be a farmer in order to promote his presidential ambition. Some even claimed that the picture was aimed at deceiving gullible Nigerians.
Reacting to the negative comments, the former Vice President stated that he has owned the farm since the mid-80s and that the farm has few hundred workers in its employ.
