Indications have emerged that Davido and Wizkid may have resumed their social media war after a brief break. The new beef started on Saturday, when Davido shaded Wizkid on his Snapchat following ongoing promotion of the latter's Extended Play (EP) titled "Sounds from the other Side" set to be released in July 2017.
Davido wrote "nah pon pon sound dey reign now ooo. No jonze!! All other sounds nah d least for now LMAO". Angered by Davio's shade, Wizkid took to his Twitter handle and fired back "You can't hate on someone doing better than u in what u failed at. Learn and appreciate. Free ur mind from hate young kids"
He went further to tweet, "The game is only for the real! Catch up or stay local! Don't blame anybody for ur failures! Pray and work hard kids". Wizkid concluded the outburst by tweeting "... and remember kids! Drink more water!!
While some commentators claim that this twitter war may just be another publicity stunt by the singers, the duo are not new to controversy or battle for supremacy. Time shall however tell how far this beef shall go and the victim that shall be consumed.
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for the Ojuelegba crooner to drop the awaited Sounds from the other Side.
