Popular Nigerian radio and television On-Air-Personality and host of Big Brother Africa IK Osakioduwa on Thursday narrated how he escaped being crushed to death by a speeding truck. IK who took to his Twitter handle @ik_osakioduwa to narrate how he was almost crushed to death by a truck driver said the incident occurred because the driver refused to obey traffic light on Thursday, March 29.
He explained that on seeing the truck driver trying to beat the traffic light even though it was on red, he maneuvered his car to the front of the car before him and that act alone saved him and his car from being hit by the truck. Other vehicles were not all that lucky as the truck hit them.
His tweets read;
"God just saved me from what would have been a terrible accident. While waiting at a stop light I noticed a speeding truck that didn’t seem to be slowing down. Even though the light was red I maneuvered to the front of the car on my right. I got out of the way in time.
"Unfortunately, the truck still crashed into the car that was on my left, sending it right across the intersection. It also hit a car that was coming from the opposite side. Thank God for his mercy and protection. I believe everyone walked away with their lives"
