Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have finally announced the name of their third child who was born via surrogate on Monday! The baby girl - - is called Chicago.
Kim the elated mother revealed the news on her Twitter handle, and also followed up her post with another message that seemed to confirm that Chicago would go by the nickname Chi.
"And to everyone who thinks it's literally pronounced as CHi. No. it's "Shy" she wrote.
Just before the arrival of Chicago, Kim went on Ellen DeGeneres’ chat show and admitted that she hadn’t decided on a name, “We’re freaking out, we have no name,” she admitted.
Although the proud mother did reveal her three golden rules about picking names, Kim believes her babies names should be “short, easy to spell and one syllable.”
After the delivery of Chicago, Kim admitted how grateful she was to modern technology and the possibility of the use of gestational carrier. She also revealed how pained she was for not carrying her own child especially after she carried North and Saint.
However she admitted it was the best experience she ever had in her life.
“Having a gestational carrier was so special for us and she made our dreams of expanding our family come true."
