FIFA president, Gianni Infantino has been re-elected for a second term in office. He was re-elected by acclamation for a second term as FIFA president at the Congress of world football’s governing body in Paris on Wednesday.

The 49-year-old, who took charge of FIFA in February 2016 after the departure of the disgraced Sepp Blatter, stood unopposed for re-election for a new four-year term which will run until 2023.
