D’Tigers star, Al-Farouq Aminu set a new personal career high in the NBA on Wednesday for the most three points scored in a game while in action for the Portland Trail Blazers who lost 115 -111 to the Houston Rockets at the Moda centre.

Aminu scored six 3-pointers in the game, four of them coming in the first quarter where he scored 16 points in the first quarter.

The 26-year old Nigerian star also tallied 22 points, eight rebounds and four assist for the Blazers who suffered their 27th defeat of the season.

The Blazers defeat ended a 13 game winning streak but they maintain third spot in the Western Conference and a two-game lead over Oklahoma City Thunder for the Northwest Division lead.

Portland will welcome the Boston Celtics on Friday night at Moda Center in their next game.
