Former President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), Yusuf Dauda died on Wednesday night, at his residence in Minna, Niger State, after a brief illness.
According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mohammed Maigidansanma, the secretary of the federation made the disclosure on Thursday.
Yusuf served as HFN President for eight years and was a member of the Samuel Ochelon-led HFN Board, as the time of his death.
Two wives and children survive the immediate ex-president.
Maigidansanma said the HFN family will forever miss a dedicated and valuable member.
Some members of the HFN Board attended the burial yesterday in Minna.
