After their impressive outing at the recently concluded Commonwealth Games in Australia, the Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF) has been invited by their French counterparts to be part of a one-day test-match that will see wrestlers from both countries sweat it out on the mat later this year.

Nigerian sprinter Divine Oduduru on Saturday, April 21 broke the Texas Tech 14-year 100m record at the Michael Johnson Invitational in the United States of America. Oduduru who represented Nigeria at the 2016 Olympic Games is on scholarship in the United States.

Nigerian Breweries Plc, has joined the growing list of corporate organisations who have thrown their weight behind the first IAAF silver label road race in Nigeria nay West Africa, the Okpekpe international 10km road race. Spokesman for the race Dare Esan revealed that the company is coming in as a Friend of the Race.
