Former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha has officially declared his interest to run for President of Nigeria in the 2023 general elections.
Okorocha made this known on Wednesday in a letter addressed to and read by the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan at plenary.
The former governor said he would hold a world press conference on Monday 31st January 2022 to officially declare his ambition to contest for the Presidency.
Okorocha is currently a senator on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) representing the Imo West senatorial district.
