Sen. Shehu Sani, Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District has condemned the killing of 12 Soldiers by unknown gunmen in the Kampanim Village, Doka area in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state. Senator Sani made his opinion known in a post on his Facebook page. While condoling with the families of the slain soldiers, he hinted that the issue had been raised on the floor of the Nigerian Senate.

Residents of Takum and Ussa Local Government areas of Taraba state have raised alarm that marauding herdsmen carrying out attacks on them are now using machine guns to their people, despite ongoing military operation. Chairman of Ussa Local Government Council, Mr. Rimamsikwe Karma, who stated this on Friday while speaking to newsmen said the marauding herders are not the regular herdsmen they had known, revealing that this ones are strange.

President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that his administration was committed to securing the released of the remaining Dapchi schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu who is still in Boko Haram captivity over her alleged refusal to denounce Christianity.
