Job Racketeering: IPPIS Officer Confess Accepting Bribe At FCC

An ex- Integrated Payroll and Personnel information system (IPPIS) officer at the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Haruna Kolo, who was indicted for collecting bribe to offer jobs to susceptible Nigerians has confessed to the allegations of about 75 million on the order of the Commission Chairman, Farida Dankaka.

Emefiele’s Trial To Commence July 25

The suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, is scheduled to be arraigned before the Federal High Court, Lagos on July 25 on two counts charges. Train Attack: Court Okays Secret Trial Of The Terrorist Negotiator, Mamu

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has okayed the application by the federal government to secretly try the witnesses line up to testify against the terroristr negotiator, Mr Tukur Mamu over his role in the train attack in year 2022. The presiding Judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo gave the order following an-exparte motion moved by D.E. Kwase, counsel to the federal government, AGF office. The ex-parte motion marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/96/2023, Kaswe said the application dated May 11, was filed on June 15.
