The Iyaloja of Oyo State, Alhaja Wuraola Asake Kola-Daisi, who heads the market women of the State has died at age 86, according to her son, Chief Rotimi Jogunosinmi. Jogunosinmi said his late mother would be buried on Thursday by 4:00 pm according to Islamic rites, at her residence, along Ring Road near D'Rovans Hotel in Ibadan. He thanked members of the Oyo State Market Leaders Council, National Association of Nigerian Traders, Alhaja Risiwat Ameringun, the Iyaloja of Ibadanland, and the South-West Coordinator, Mrs. Odunayo Danjuma for their support.

Kola-Daisi was inaugurated as the Iyaloja of Oyo State in 2008 by Mrs. Deborah Oyelade, the then Commissioner for Women Affairs, Social Welfare and Community Development during former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala's administration.
