Nigerian music superstar Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, is set to debut at popular Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival popular known as Coachella in Indio, California.
Coachella is one of the largest, most famous and most profitable music festivals in the United States as well as across the globe.
Last years' edition of the festival was graced by up to 250,000 personalities and fans. It also grossed up to $114.6 million.
Star boy confirmed his participation at the event on Tuesday, via his tweeter handle, “We taking the African culture to Coachella BTW and am bringing out everybody.”
The “Ojuelegba” crooner will be performing alongside international stars including; The Weekend, Beyoncé , Eminem Black Coffee, Jorja Smith, Migos, Cardi B and Jidenna.
In another development, Wizkid’s 2017 hit song `Daddy Yo’, is part of the soundtrack for British-Nigerian actor John Boyega’s new upcoming American science fiction film ‘Pacific Rim Uprising’.
