Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, known with her stage name as Teams has hinted on her aspiration of diving into movie industry soon. The Oscar-nominated media personality said she have passion for featuring as single mum role in a movie where she is planning to join soon.
Tems, who is a product of a single mother who was brought up in Lagos, made the disclosure this in her recent interview with BBC Capital Xtra London.
She said, “I’m ready to act in movies. Not ready right now but I’m already good at acting.
“The first character I would love to play is a single mum. It doesn’t need to be struggling. It could be like a fun single mum or a single mum that has mysteries, A gangster.”
Recall, Davido, Wizkid, and Mr Eazi have also spoken about joining the movie industry in the past though not as actors but as executives.
