The governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Ogun State said it would deliver judgement on the petition filed by Hon. Adekunle Akinlade and his party, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), challenging the election of Gov. Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday.

According to Dailypost, the tribunal had on August 19, after parties adopted their final written addresses, reserved judgement.

The Justice Yusuf Halilu-led tribunal promised to notify parties, at least 48 hours before the day of judgement.

A copy of the notice made available to newsmen on Tuesday indicates that the tribunal would deliver judgement on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at High Court No. 8, Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
