eWorld Forum To Celebrate 10th Edition With Awards

The leading conference platform in Nigeria for broadband and digital development policy formulation and pathfinder to growth and service innovation, eWorld Forum has announced that it will be marking its 10th edition with an awards ceremony.

 

The Chief Coordinator of the event, Mr. Aaron Ukodie made the assertion, saying the event is scheduled to hold on June 5th, at the Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

 

The event which is themed ''The Nigeria's Roadmap to Broadband Everywhere'' has a lineup of discussion topics including 'The Smart cities and hotspots everywhere vision; how are the Infracos and the last mile quest faring; the 5G evolution: whither Nigeria; is 5G a necessary imperative for Nigeria’s broadband everywhere quest.

 

'What is the role of spaced-based communication in the broadband era and in achieving broadband everywhere vision: 4G, 5G; and how telcos are meeting and plans to meet the Nigeria’s customers’ expectation?'

 

The 10th edition will be attended by broadband and digital service innovators, leading IT experts, heads of telecom companies, especially as the forum has been identified by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), and Association of Licensed Telecom Companies of Nigeria (ALTON).

 

The Vice President of NCC, Professor Umar Danbatta in a panel of discussion would present major insight and policy direction on issues, trending technologies, and innovations. Also, among the panel are; the President of ALTON, Gbenga Adebayo, IT expert, Mr Chris Uwaje, and the new President of Nigerian Internet Registration Association (NIRA), Muhammed Rudman.

 

Other speakers are CEO of ExpertTeam, Engr. Aremu Olajide, who was former Technical Head of Glo Mobile, and Gbenga Sesan of Paradigm Initiatives.
