The Minister of Communication, Barrister Abdurraheem Adebayo Shittu, Tuesday, commissioned the newly established Nigerian Army Information and Call Centre (NAICC), at the Headquarters, Nigerian Army Abuja.
The centre is equipped with modern communication gadgets, manned by specialists from various corps.


The Nigeria Army Headquarters, Abuja, Tuesday, officially launched its Information and Call Centre (NAICC).

The newly established centre was commissioned by the Minister of Communication, Barrister Abdurraheem Adebayo Shittu.

According to report published on the military website, the centre is part of broad efforts by the the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, to make the Nigerian Army accessible, accountable and responsive in the discharge of its constitutional duties.

The centre is equipped with modern communication gadgets, manned by specialists from various corps, who receive and analyse complaints for, the public through the short code 193 which is accessible from any of the telecommunication service providers in the country.

They are also expected to receive calls or complaints from troops serving in various parts of the country
