The fastest growing electric car company, Tesla has opened the world’s most gigantic supercharge station in Beijing, China, in other to support its growing fleet in the country this year. The Station will be the third in the country. The Company has just completed its third Supercharger station with 50 Stalls for plugging in Tesla Vehicles. Like its sister station opened in Shanghai last year, it has become the largest fast-charging station in the world. The station is set to be open in a few months.


Each of the stations is extremely powerful in order to potentially supercharge up to 50 cars at the same time. The station is as powerful as the current Supercharger station in Shanghai and has a peak power output of over 3 megawatts.


Tesla last year had over 8,250 supercharges at 1,120 locations around the world with the U.S having 447 followed by China with 146 Stations. When it comes to electric vehicles sales, China is already the world leader. The company said it is targeting 18,000 more in other parts of the world by the end of 2018.
