Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Users Hit By System Failure

For more than two hours, the Facebook company social media apps were down globally, with users having difficulties accessing them. Users of Facebook and Instagram complained of inaccessibility while those accessing the "fb.com" domain expressed their dissatisfaction about the domain being unavailable for more than two hours.

Popular Instant Messaging app WhatsApp was also hit with system failures, messages sent were not delivered either were recipient able to receive any messages. Aside from these major stream Facebook apps, Messenger, Facebook’s chat service, was also down for more than two hours. Users of these apps in the early hours of the day (6:309am) headed to Twitter to share their issues.

Although, the problem is said to have been resolved, according to a statement released by a Spokesperson from the organization 

“Earlier today, some people may have experienced trouble connecting to the family of apps,” 

“The issue has since been resolved; we’re sorry for any inconvenience.”

However, this is not the first time Facebook is experiencing this outage, the company experienced one of the worst outages ever last month.
